Jose Miguel Mendoza is Adjunct Professor of International Business Law at CESA Business School in Bogotá, Colombia. He holds a Master’s degree in International and European Business Law from Tilburg University in the Netherlands. He has held positions as Visiting Research Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science, Member of the TILEC-AFM (Dutch Financial Markets Authority) Research Network on Financial Market Regulation and also served as interim legal counsel at Philips Electronics Corporation. He has lectured at the American Law and Economics Association 18th annual meeting held at Columbia Law School in New York (2008), Javeriana and Sabana Universities and various Chamber of Commerce across Colombia. He is the author of “Securities Regulation in low-tier listing venues: The rise of the Alternative Investment Market”, Fordham Journal of Corporate & Financial Law (New York, January 2008) and of “Securities Regulation in Emerging Markets: Multi-tier exchanges”, ALACDE, Summer, 2009. As a Junior Partner at Francisco Reyes & Asociados, he participated in the drafting of the Colombian Simplified Stock Corporation Bill.

Ylber Albert Dauti is an attorney licensed to practice law in several parts of the World. He is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York and he is also admitted to practice law before the United States of America Federal Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Additionally, he is duly licensed to practice law in Albania, England and Wales. He is a graduate of Tirana Law School, Central European University and University of Connecticut School of Law. Mr. Dauti is a member of the International Bar Association, American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, Association of the Bar of the City of New York, The Law Society of England and Wales, and The International High IQ Society. He speaks several foreign languages and has written on various business law topics, such as: Corporate Takeover Issues in European Union and United States of America, Foreign Direct Investment in China and India and "Investing in South Eastern Europe - Foreign Direct Investment in the Stability Pact Countries", a co-authored book published by European University Press (2005).

Prior to founding The Dauti Law Firm, P.C., Mr. Dauti was a Trial Attorney, for five years, with two New York City law firms. He also served as the General Counsel of a US Corporation with international business activities.

Mr. Dauti has successfully tried to verdict numerous civil and commercial actions before Judges and Juries in New York State. He has been trial counsel on legal matters that were publicized in the media and his opinions have been cited by the New York Press such as New York Law Journal and Manhattan’s Gotham Gazette. He has represented clients in the negotiation and drafting of various international contracts and has advised them on matters involving the legal aspects of doing business in various international markets.
